After Your Lash Extension Appointment

avoid getting your eyelashes wet (including extreme steam) for at least 24 hours (48 ideally) to allow the adhesive to fully bond

frequent contact with water or steam (ex. sauna, steam room, pool, hot tub, hot springs) may cause the adhesive bond to weaken, therefore shortening the lifespan of your extensions (expected lifespan of extensions is 3 - 4 weeks)

avoid the use of mascara as it shortens the lifespan of the extensions and can make it difficult to cleanse the lashes (if you choose to do so, apply only at the tips of the extensions, not the base - avoid waterproof!)

Do not perm or tint eyelashes either before or after extension application

Do not use an eyelash curler

avoid rubbing your lashes

when cleansing your face, clean your eyes (including your lashes) gently in order to remove all makeup, dirt and built up oils

Do not use oil-based makeup or makeup removers (try to avoid contact with eyelashes when removing makeup)

Do not pull on your extensions; this may cause your natural lashes to be pulled out

Do not cut your extensions (you may accidently cut your own eyelashes in the process)

Do not attempt to remove your extensions yourself

WE WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY BE CAUSED IF YOU TRY TO ALTER OR REMOVE THE EYELASH EXTENSIONS ON YOUR OWN

Use a clean mascara wand (mascara-free) to occasionally brush lashes; gently brush towards the tips, do not brush hard from the base

it's best to try to sleep face up to maintain the correct position and shape or your extensions

the use of a lash growth serum is recommended for optimal lash health and overall appearance of extensions

*** The longevity of the extensions varies individually depending on one’s own natural eyelash growth cycle as well as maintenance of the extensions. Most clients require a refill every 3 weeks, however it is common to do a refill every 2 weeks when first starting out (getting accustomed to the extensions and the aftercare can take some time). Some clients may have faster eyelash growth cycles, often requiring refills every 2 weeks while others could potentially (less common) have longer growth cycles allowing them to get refills every 4 weeks.

Eyelash extensions are not for everyone. This is a beauty service that requires maintenance and gentle care in order for the extensions to last and remain in good condition

Do Eyelash Extensions Damage My Natural Eyelashes?

With the professional training, certification and practice that all of our technicians have received, we are more than confident that your natural eyelashes will remain as healthy and viable as ever. The lash adhesive that we use is specifically formulated to create a solid, yet soft bond to human eyelashes. Therefore, when used in combination with the lightweight synthetic extensions, your natural eyelashes will not be weighed down which is often the cause of premature shedding and even damage to your natural lash ***

After Your Lash Lift Appointment

avoid getting your eyelashes wet (including extreme steam) for at least 24 hours (48 ideally) to allow the curl and positioning of the lashes to set correctly. lashes may fall or lose longevity of the curl if exposed too soon (expected lifespan of lash lift is 6 - 8 weeks)

frequent contact with water or steam (ex. sauna, steam room, pool, hot tub, hot springs) may cause the results of the lift to weaken prematurely

Try to avoid mascara as it may shorten the lifespan of the lift and can alter their shape. however, if you choose to do so, apply a water-based (not water-proof) mascara

Do not pull on your lashes; this may cause your natural lashes to be pulled out

Do not cut your lashes

Use a clean mascara wand (mascara-free) to occasionally brush lashes and position them so they are separated and fanned out

it's best to try to sleep face up to maintain the correct position and shape or your lashes

the use of a lash growth serum is recommended for optimal lash health and overall appearance of extensions

*** as the lifted (curled) lashes naturally shed, they are then replaced with a new, straighter eyelash, therefore creating a slight variation in curl amongst your lashes. while your at home care for your lashes is crucial in the longevity of the lift's results, this result will be unavoidable due to the nature of your eyelashes. If this is an irritant, booking your appointments closer together can help ***

After Your Lash and/or Brow Tint

Do not touch or rub your eyes, eyelashes or eyebrows immediately after the treatment

results will start to diminish within 2-3 weeks as hair grows out and the tint color fades. extreme sun or UV light can make the tint fade faster

Avoid getting your lashes and/or browd wet for 24 hours, as this can cause the tint results to fade

do not use exfoliating facial cleansers. Those containing AHA's or other chemical exfoliates may decrease the life of your tint. we recommend a gentle, oil-free facial cleanser or eye makeup remover

Do not apply makeup or mascara to lashes or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours after service

Try to use oil-free facial products around the eye area to help prolong the lifespan of the tint

lash or brow tinting treatments are recommended to be done every 3-4 weeks for optimum results

If redness or irritation occur, apply a cool damp cotton compress to the eye area. If symptoms persist for more than 24 hours contact your lashybaby lash artist (if irritation is extreme seek appropriate medical attention)

*** lash and Brow tinting is a safe procedure, with Complications being rare. It is a great choice for people who prefer not to wear mascara or brow color and is a safe alternative for individuals with allergies to mascara or other lash or brow products

Tinting results last an average of 3‐6 weeks although results may vary. while Tinting does not actually increase the length of the eyelashes or brows, it enhances them and gives this appearance.

The tint adheres to the hair and not the skin. Some staining of the skin during the treatment may occur, but it will wash and wear off ***
